Stretch & Challenge:
If you are looking to stretch and challenge having a go at this cake:
Top Tips
  •  Keep your pencil outlines as thin and light as possible so you can't see them after you have painted
  •  Thin down your watercolour paint with water for a very runny consistency that's easier to apply
  •  Layer your colours gradually, starting with the lightest colours and building up to the darkest colours
  •  If you make a mistake, quickly dab it with a paper towel or a tissue to remove it
  •  Getting the lights and darks in the right place is more important than getting the colours right
