What you will need:
Sketching paper (or your sketchbook), a soft pencil (preferably 2B or 4B), coloured pencils, eraser and a pencil sharpener.

Top Tips
• Keep your pencil outlines as thin and light as possible so you can't see them after you have painted
• Thin down your watercolour paint with water for a very runny consistency that's easier to apply
• Layer your colours gradually, starting with the lightest colours and building up to the darkest colours
• If you make a mistake, quickly dab it with a paper towel or a tissue to remove it
• Getting the lights and darks in the right place is more important than getting the colours right
