What is it?
Glass fusing is the process of joining compatible sheet glasses together in a kiln until the glass fuses at approximately 800 degrees Celcius. It grants you the power to create colourful, dynamic works of glass art that are completely unique. Unlike many other glass forms, glass fusing allows you as much time as you need to bring your designs to life since you are working with the glass while it is cold.
When is it happening
Our glass fusing club runs on Thursdays, 3:20-4:30pm in the DT room. Numbers are limited for your safety so places will mostly be allocated on a first come first served basis. However, some priority may be given to older students who may not have an opportunity to take part in the future.
How much does it cost to join?
You will be charged £40 to cover the cost of the glass you use throughout the term.
